This class will provide different methods and technique for improvisation and how we improvise in the Entwined Bellydance format. We will provide an introduction to American Tribal Style Bellydance and how classic formations and troupe format movements can be used for group or solo improvisation. A good brush up for anyone who has previously done group improvisation, regulars looking to expand on their capacity or complete beginners wanting to learn a few basics.

Get Your Glitch On Part 1
Summer festival season is upon us! We’ll drill your fave bellydance moves but then add some unexpected fun tribal fusion style slinks, pops and locks to get your moving like a babe on the dancefloor. We’ll play with some combinations to some of my favourite current glitch tracks, and do some conditioning drills to hone the deep musculature of the body so you can access that deep serpentine core.

Wednesday 23 January
Get Your Glitch On Part 2 (Can’t get enough edition)
Part 2, cause 1 shot is not enough! We’ll continue to play with some slinky poppy combinations to some of my favourite current glitch tracks, and do some conditioning drills to hone the deep musculature of the body so you can access that deep inner pool of yumm!

Learn about the culture and lineage and bellydance and tribal style from your passionate teacher Laura Entwined. These classes suit all levels and are beginner friendly. Through these classes, Laura hopes to see you build strength, flexibility, coordination and expanded movement ability in your body, provide a strong technical foundation for bellydance, create connection to community, tribe, body, soul and mind, and hopefully ignite a fire in your belly for middle eastern dance which turns into a devotion which goes on for many years.
