This class focuses on the contrasting nature of tribal fusion bellydance – serpentine, sinuous and flowing movements contrasted with glitchy/modern urban dance-inspired pops, locks and ticks. Drills and conditioning for beginner to advanced dancers. Some understanding or experience of dance/bellydance/tribal bellydance basics is useful.

7.30-8.45pm – Tribal Fusion Creative Lab
This class weaves together tribal bellydance foundations, improvised tribal style and tribal fusion basics into combinations and choreography sequences. Fast-moving for more intermediate dancers or beginners wanting a challenge. Performance opportunities for dedicated dancers reaching a high proficiency in this style. This term we will be developing a new group choreographic piece playing with angles, levels, fades and timing. There will be some space for student input – so budding choreographers welcome.
