The ancient art of bellydance is the ultimate womanly expression of the divine feminine. Bellydance enables a woman to be completely embodied, confident, raw, rooted and heavenly. Bellydance can be a sensuous dance for a partner as well as an opportunity to hone the deep core muscles in the abdomen.
The popularity of women learning bellydance leading into their wedding ceremony as a special gift for their partner is a long running tradition. Participants will have the opportunity to learn basic bellydance movements in a private one-on-one setting which they can perform at their wedding or to their partner in private. Participants will have the opportunity to engage teacher/performer/dancer Laura Entwined to perform with them at their wedding (at additional cost) if desired.
Women’s Blessing Rituals & Ceremonies
For Weddings/Brides To Be
Instead of hosting the traditional “hen’s night” women will have the opportunity to create an intimate, spiritual, unique and special experience for their bride to be. The Women’s Blessing Ceremony involves creating an individualised ritual for your “bride to be” in a bellydance workshop format.
Baby Blessing Ceremony
Instead of hosting the traditional “baby shower” women will have the opportunity to create an intimate, spiritual, unique and special experience for their “mum to be”. The Women’s Baby Blessing Ceremony would involve creating an individualised ritual for your mum to be in a bellydance workshop format.
